Senior Human Resources Manager

Maria joined BAYS in September 2025, bringing over 25 years of Human Resources experience within the non-profit sector. As a collaborative leader, she is dedicated to integrating organizational values with operational compliance to create truly people-centered environments.

A proud graduate of Florida A&M University with a B.S. in Business Economics, Maria also holds an M.A. in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Prior to BAYS, she dedicated her career to a Pinellas County non-profit focused on bridging the educational gap for low-income families and family outreach.

A true “Florida Girl” at heart, Maria spends her free time volunteering with her sorority and church or brunching with her family and friends. A sports fan, she is always rooting for her FAMU Rattlers, TB Rays, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
