For more than 40 years, BAYS has worked alongside youth, families, and communities across Florida to create opportunities for meaningful, lasting change. What began as a youth services organization has grown and evolved alongside the communities we serve.
We believe every person has value, potential, and the ability to grow. Through innovative programs, trusted partnerships, and individualized support, BAYS helps young people and families build on their strengths, navigate challenges, and move toward brighter futures.

Behavioral Health Support
Growing up comes with challenges, and sometimes young people and families need a little extra support along the way. BAYS offers community-based programs that promote stability, strengthen families, encourage success in school, and give youth the tools and resources they need to thrive.
Juvenile Justice Support
When young people come into contact with the justice system, the right support at the right time can make all the difference. BAYS provides compassionate, effective programs that help youth navigate these challenges, build on their strengths, and move toward a brighter future.

“I’ve had close friends who have turned into my family and they got me through a lot. The first time I found a substance in my mom's room they were the first ones that I called and they helped me through it and told me how to go about things.”

“Some things that trigger me are yelling, arguing, and cruel words. One time I was triggered when my mother and I had an argument and she called me a monster. This sent me straight to tears and became violent. I said some cruel things and did things I regret now. If l could go back, I'd stop, take a breather, go on a walk, and then return and try to explain and talk to my mom about the situation calmly.”
