Dela'Quese Jernigan

Operations Manager, JDAP and YSP

Dela'Quese Jernigan serves as the Operations Manager for the North Juvenile Diversion Alternative Program (JDAP) and Youth Screening Program (YSP) at BAYS. Since joining the organization in 2023 as a Supervisor, Dela'Quese has demonstrated a strong commitment to operational excellence, team development, and program effectiveness, leading initiatives that support positive outcomes for youth and families throughout the region.

Prior to joining BAYS, Dela'Quese built a strong foundation in the corrections field, serving as an Education Counselor, where she worked closely with individuals to promote personal growth, educational achievement, and successful reintegration. This experience has informed her leadership approach and strengthened her passion for helping others overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Dela'Quese earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Xavier University (Ohio), where she was also a student-athlete, developing the discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills that continue to guide her professional career. She further advanced her education by earning a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership and Change from Colorado Technical University.
